Why my passion for donkey ???
Matthew 21:1-9 (New King James Version) 1 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. 3 And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
4 All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: 5 Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey. 6 So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. 8 And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“ Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘ Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’
Hosanna in the highest!” Who gets the glory ? Jesus Christ, We are like the donkey and gets to enjoy it !!!

There is something wrong with these pictures:
1) Thousands of Christians watch a single “Christian Singer” or group “Worship Team” having a good time and the they just stare and watch ????? After the “concert” many will buy the CDS !!!!! Perhaps now we can understand why the power of “worship” has been reduced to just “releasing hot air”. Solution: can we reverse the situation, let the thousands worship and the few “singers or worship team members” join in worship. At the end of the day “it is not about us” but “all about HIM”.
2) Regardless of the size of the church there will always be a “Senior Pastor” !!!!! I often wonder what happened to the “Junior Pastors” ???? I have not seen anyone carrying that title for ever so long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Solution: A Pastor is by calling and not a vocation and therefore there is no seniority. Granted there is “first among equals” but let us remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Mark 9:34-35 (New King James Version) “But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
3) I observed many have given themselves titles that are mind boggling: provost, bishops, directors and whatever there are out there!!! Solution: Can we just serve Christ by serving others and forget about title and position. Whatever happen to the good old greetings of “Brother and Sister” in the Lord that we use to !!!!!!! Can we be “donkey for Christ” !!!
4) In many churches the Pastor’s wife is automatically elevated to being “Assistant Pastor” even if she has no clue what that means and definitely no training what so ever ??? (exception the few that perhaps had training). Solution: Let a Pastor’s wife, first a “helpmeet” to her husband and then a mother to her children. She is a member of the congregation. I promise that there will be less problems in the church.
5)The "Acts of Worship", an issue that we have not adequately resolove. Many are still arguing over this !!!
Solution: Worship in my humble opinion is a “journey”, it begins and will have a final destination-heaven. It is “to whom” we worship rather then “how do we worship” that needs our total focus and lays the foundation of Worship in the Church. Many different churches have taken different “routes” in this journey and it is perfectly OK. As different as we are “humanly” we will likewise differ in our approach and “route” we take in Worship. If you choose to fellowship in a “congregation” then take he “route” that your fellow brothers and sisters have chosen, otherwise find your own “route” perhaps in the privacy of your own home. Trust me there will be more peace and less contention and your Pastor will thank me.
More will follow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
