Worship Discipleship Training Center

Dear Partners in Christ,

Proverbs 29:18 states that "Without a vision my people perish."

In 1984 we received a vision from the Lord, not long after our born-again experience. The Lord gave us this vision even before the inception of Shachah Ministries International. The vision consisted of three separate streams flowing in the same direction then merging into a great river. The interpretation of the vision became evident as we stepped out by faith in the direction He was showing us.

First Stream: Bible School at Christ for the Nations, Dallas, Texas (1985-1986)

These were the years of formation where the foundation of the Word of God was laid. Our fragile eight years of marriage became stronger as we learned to line up our lives with Godly standards. We learned the ways of the Holy Spirit and the importance of worship in order to continue the walk of faith. They were good years where God repeated demonstrated His faithfulness.

Second Stream: Shachah Ministries International and Daily Bread Church in Asia (1988-2003)

We knew we were not called to be Pastors, however it was our desire to experience the roles in a Pastoral ministry and the Lord granted our desire. In 1991 the Lord moved us into what He called us to become "disciplers", or better known as trainers. Training Christians to become disciples has not been easy. We have many success stories and some failures too. Did not Jesus say in Luke 8:4-8, that there will be those seeds that will fall by the wayside, upon a rock, among thorns and on good ground. However, it is worth it when we look at the greater picture of the many whom God has transformed .

Third Stream: Shachah Worship Discipleship Training Center - the last stream before the river.

The greatest strength of the church is also the greatest weakness. We have too many "Christians" and not enough DISCIPLES. In Matthew 28: 19 the Lord Jesus gave us a commandment "Go ye therefore and make disciples..."

Discipleship also has the same root word as discipline and unfortunately this is much lacking in the church today. Shachah Ministries started the discipleship training in Asia in 1987. It came in the form of :

1) Shachah Home where at its peak we had 45 people in the home with our family, many of whom were widows and orphans and leaders-in-training for the church.

2) Daily Bread Church where the majority of its members were College students and families.

3) 3 month Modular Training School in Asia from 1988 and then the 2 weeks Intensive Training course in the USA until today.

4) International Worship Conferences - Fireworks In the Heavenlies is gathering the body of Christ together for the purposes of spiritual warfare and intercession for the nation.

We feel in our spirit that the Lord is leading us to build a discipleship and training center focusing on the Word of God and the area of the creative arts. The location will first be in Texas and then, other parts of the world as the Lord would lead. We are looking into acquiring a ranch or a piece of land to build office buildings, training facilities, a chapel, dormitory for students, chalets for visiting ministers in the Lord, a prayer garden and others.

We ask that you pray and consider to help Shachah financially by making contributions toward this vision. The estimate budget for the completion of this vision in Phase One is US 5 million dollars and in Phase Two is US 15 million dollars. We pray that you will be co-laborers together with us for the fulfillment of this vision of the third stream and then join us at the final stage of the great river, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ. John 7:38-39 "...shall flow rivers of living water…"

May the Lord bless and multiply back to you according to HIS abundant grace and mercy as you fulfill your calling in financing the Kingdom of God.

HIS Servants,

Pastor Michael and Aunty Magrate Yap
